Fruit Facts
Orange Julius®  Premium Fruit Smoothie flavors are a combination of real fruit, fruit juice and non-fat frozen yogurt or sherbet.  Below are some facts regarding some of the most popular fruits used in Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies.

Bananas
Bananas are highly recommended by doctors due to their impressive potassium content.  One banana can pack over 600mg of potassium.

This delicious fruit also includes as much as two grams of protein and four grams of fiber in just one banana.

Bananas contain Vitamin A, a full range of Vitamin B and even traces of Vitamin C.

Minerals include calcium, magnesium and small amounts of iron and zinc.

Bananas can be added to any Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothie for an additional punch of potassium and other vitamins/minerals.  This energy-rich fruit is a key ingredient in Orange Julius’ Tropical Tango, Peaches & Cream and Strawberry Xtreme smoothies.

Strawberries
These berries with nearly 200 seeds per fruit are packed with high levels of Vitamin C and are a good source of folic acid, potassium and fiber.  They are also low in calories with no cholesterol.

Strawberries are also known for containing bioflavoniods, which may have anti-cancer properties.

Strawberries have been a popular fruit for Orange Julius over the years and are the main ingredient in one of its most popular Premium Fruit Smoothies, Strawberry Sensation, which includes more than two servings of the fruit in each 20 oz. smoothie.

This delicious red fruit is a key ingredient in other Orange Julius smoothies including the Strawberry Xtreme, 3-Berry Blast, Tropical Tango and the aforementioned Strawberry Sensation.

Wild Blueberries
Wild blueberries have become wildly popular due to their delicious taste as well as the recent discovery that they are high in antioxidants, ranking first in antioxidant activity compared with 40 other fruits and vegetables.

This powerful fruit has also been known to help fight aging, cancer and heart disease.

Wild blueberries are featured in multiple Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies including the popular Blueberry Burst and the Wild Blue Twist™ smoothies.

Raspberries
Raspberries are a great source for soluble fibers and are known for helping lower high blood cholesterol.

This low-calorie fruit contains a potential anti-cancer agent and ellagic acid.

Raspberry lovers can find their favorite fruit in many of Orange Julius’ real-fruit smoothies including Raspberry Crush and Berry Lemon Lively.

Orange Juice
Oranges are the primary source of Vitamin C for most Americans, providing nearly 130 percent of the daily recommended dietary allowance.

This delicious fruit also contains sufficient amounts of folacin, calcium, potassium, thiamin, niacin and magnesium.
