The Orange Julius® brand has nearly 80 years of experience creating tasty drinks and treats and memories for families and individuals across the U.S.  Because of its appeal to a variety of ages, Orange Julius has become very familiar with the lifestyles and mall habits of diverse demographic groups including tweens, teens and adults.  Not only does Orange Julius have great knowledge of these consumers, but because of the nature of its business, Orange Julius can talk to the recent popularity boom and mass appeal of smoothies.

Ann Stone
Ann Stone serves as the vice president of mall concepts and general manager of DQ® TreatWorks™, the company’s new concept that will combine the treats of Dairy Queen® with the real fruit beverages of Orange Julius in one fun, treat-focused location.  Stone has more than 20 years of marketing experience with an extensive food-industry background as chief brand officer for Church’s Chicken, Coca Cola’s North American vice president of channel business development as well as corporate positions at Pizza Hut and S.C. Johnson. 

Stone received an MBA from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree from Hope College.  Prior to joining Orange Julius, Stone started up a consulting company, Tittabawassee, LLC, which allowed her the opportunity to experiment as an entrepreneur and still work in both the creative and business marketing arenas. 

Lisa Willems Connelly
Lisa Willems Connelly, director of mall brand management and marketing, manages marketing and branding for mall and non-traditional stores, including Orange Julius®, Karmelkorn® and Orange Julius®/DQ® stores.  She brings more than 20 years of marketing and management experience in sales, retailing, brand development and strategic planning to her current position, having worked for such companies as Target/Marshall Field’s as well as broadcasting and advertising entities.  Along with her work experience, Willems Connelly also brings knowledge gained from her work with past associations in the marketing, retail, and mall industries, including Retail Advertising and Marketing Association and Ad Fed.

A member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Sales and Marketing Executives (SME), Willems Connelly earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota.
